We really liked staying near Liberdade but away from the weekend crowds by the Japão-Liberdade metro, choosing a quiet spot near São Joaquim station instead. Our room was ready early, comfy, and quiet on a high floor with a cool view of Japanese lanterns, and having the metro just a few minutes away made getting around São Paulo simple. The staff was welcoming, and skipping breakfast to enjoy the street market turned out to be a great call.
